Order of the Arrow Atta Kulla Kulla Lodge 185 has began collecting frozen turkeys in 1997. That first year, 9 turkeys were collected. Over the last 26 years we have collected approximately 100 tons of frozen turkeys. All turkeys are donated to area food banks, food pantries and shelter organizations in the South Greenville County area.
About Order of the Arrow

The Order of the Arrow is Scouting’s National Honor Society. The Order of the Arrow, or “OA,” is a service organization that emphasizes the ideals of brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service. Members are elected from within their units and recognized as those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. Under the guidance of selected capable adults, OA members under 21 provide leadership to the organization.

Founded in 1915, the Order of the Arrow has over 171,000 members in lodges affiliated with nearly 300 local BSA councils.  Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long-term resident camping, developing leaders, and providing cheerful service to others. OA service, activities, adventures, and training for youth and adults are models of quality leadership development and programming that enrich, support, and help to extend Scouting to America's youth. http://www.oa-bsa.org/
